We meet 5-6 times per year on a Saturday,(10am-5pm) to work on our crafts or hobbies and chat with like-minded friends. There is nothing to buy– you bring your own sup-plies. We provide lots of workspace, you provide a small snack to share with the group and a brown bag lunch. In January, we offer a 2-day retreat with meals provided.

The Creative Kindness Sewing Group is a collection of sew-ers that do community sewing projects. They gather month-ly and share a potluck or brown bag lunch. Prayer shawls through the ages have provided comfort and peace. They are a blessing to the recipient as well as the shawl maker. Prayer shawls are given by parishioners to anyone in need due to illness, crisis or in time of grief. In addition, other knit and crochet items are made for charities.

The Confirmation Prep Team provides a program to help youth prepare for the Sacrament of Confirmation. We are the leadership team chartered with ensuring that we have well maintained facilities and grounds, which meet the needs of the parish community. We sponsor various commit-tees responsible for maintaining the facilities and grounds. We initiate and carry out periodic maintenance and inspection of the facilities. We develop and execute the short and long term plans for the modification and improvement of our facilities and grounds. We administer facility action requests.

We serve people in need within our general parish area.  We do this by providing rent, utility and food assistance – primarily through a voucher system.  We work directly with landlords, utilities and local grocers to provide this assistance.  Ministry volunteers receive names of those in need through the St. Vincent de Paul Helpline. Volunteer teams of two make home visits to follow-up on their needs. Funding for this ministry comes through our Parish Social Action budget and private donations.

The Music Ministry provides musicians and singers an opportunity to minister to the Church body through the gift of music.
